Wolters Kluwer Financial Services Introduces
NILS INSource User Enhancements
New Features Make Accessing and Sharing Insurance Compliance Regulatory Content Easier Than Ever
WALTHAM, Mass. – (Mar. 26. 2007) – Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ Insurance Compliance Solutions group today announced that it has added additional functionality to its Web-based regulatory research tool, NILS INSource, to help insurance compliance professionals access information faster and share it more efficiently within their organizations.
NILS INSource, which provides online access to complete statutory and regulatory information, offers a number of features to access the various rules and regulations that affect the insurance industry, such as terminology indexing, line-of-business searching, and compliance-topic and subtopic categories to help access the most specific content needed. With its latest enhancements, NILS INSource now allows users to:
Link Directly to Recent Content Compliance professionals can log in and quickly return to the books and documents they were working in. NILS INSource displays the last 20 books and 20 documents that the user has viewed, presenting the resources in chronological order so materials can be accessed faster.
Identify the Author of Shared User Notes NILS INSource allows users to post shared user notes on their account. This is a very helpful feature for compliance officers who want to highlight specific rules and regulations for employees, or explain how the organization is meeting a specific requirement. Instead of attaching user names to notes, NILS INSource includes the e-mail address of the user who posted the note. This allows an organization’s employees to quickly contact the author for clarifications, questions and comments, and share information more efficiently.
About NILS INSource
More than 1,200 insurance organizations rely on NILS INSource for statutory and regulatory research and analysis on all 50 states, the federal government, the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. NILS INSource offers customers both printed Red Books, a premier print source of information on state insurance laws and regulations, and a web-based database. Add on modules are also available covering specific compliance needs such as Market Conduct Examination and NAIC Model Law.
